 Alex Paton: Alex@brickhousegym.ca

Alex Paton is a passionate, dedicated athlete who strives to help others in achieving their ultimate goals. From a very young age, she has played a multitude of sports including volleyball, soccer, dance and long-distance running.  After rehabilitating two injured knees, Alex realized her strong interest in the human body structure, movement and the effects of proper training and recovery on athletic performance. The fire to teach everything she learned impacted Alex to take Fitness Theory and Movement to Music with the Manitoba Fitness Council. She spent 6 years at the University of Manitoba studying Kinesiology and Nutrition, happily graduating in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences. [B.Sc. (Nutr.Sc.)]
Consequently, Alex was inspired to create her business known as Shock Performance Nutrition, offering counselling, seminar & coaching services. From there she continued her own self-development by attending the Landmark Education Forum in Vancouver as well as completing the CCF Life Coaching Certification.  Alex draws clients to the importance in understanding their sub-concious and it’s connection to our conscious beliefs, actions and attitudes towards long term health as a whole. Her life’s purpose is to “coach others past the limits they set upon themselves and achieve greatness in their own lives.”
Alex is the first female trainer at Brickhouse Gym and is pleased to be leading the MWF Ladies 6:15am class at our Century Location.
